FortressScore
Privacy policy
Effective September 19, 2026
FortressScore is a Chrome extension for Amazon sellers. This policy describes exactly what the extension reads, what it stores, and what leaves your browser. It is written to be checked against the code, not to reassure.
What the extension reads
- Amazon product pages you open. Title, price, brand, weight, dimensions, category, sales rank, rating summary, product image, and (when you build an Edge Report) the text of the listing's critical reviews, fetched through your own Amazon session.
- Alibaba pages the extension opens. Search results and product listings, read in a background tab in your browser, to find supplier prices for the product you are analyzing.
The extension does not read any other websites, your browsing history, form fields, passwords, cookies for its own use, or anything on Amazon or Alibaba other than the pages described above.
What leaves your browser
| Data | Sent to | Why |
| Critical review text, listing title, category, and rating summary | Our relay server (Cloudflare Workers), which forwards it to the DeepSeek language-model API | To generate the Edge Report |
| Listing title and Alibaba result titles | Same relay and model API | To judge which Alibaba listings are the same product type |
| A random install ID (a UUID generated on install) | Our relay server | To count daily Edge Reports and recognize a Pro license. It is not linked to your name, email, or Amazon account. |
| Product image (downscaled JPEG) | Alibaba's image-search endpoint, from your browser | To find visually matching suppliers |
The relay keeps a per-day counter per install ID and nothing else. Review text and titles are processed to generate a response and are not stored by us. DeepSeek's handling of API requests is governed by its own terms.
No analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts are included. We do not sell or share data with anyone.
What is stored on your computer
Saved products, suppliers, quotes, notes, Edge Reports, cached Alibaba results, your settings, and the install ID are kept in Chrome's extension storage on your device. Uninstalling the extension deletes them.
Pro licenses
Pro subscriptions are sold through Lemon Squeezy, which handles payment and issues a license key. We receive the license key and its status, not your card details. Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy governs the checkout.
Your choices
- Settings let you turn off automatic Alibaba searches and automatic Edge Reports so nothing runs until you click.
- Alibaba lookups run in your own session; you may sign out of Alibaba if you prefer them to run anonymously.
- "Reset install ID" in settings discards your identifier and counters.
